Our SS18 “Underground Monarch” runway collection blazer was worn by Van Goth on the Season 6 Premiere Of Canada’s Drag Race drag confessionals last night.
When I created this collection I aspired to merge the concept of regality and upcycling; known at the time to be polar opposites before sustainability was in the global mainstream. It was a reclamation of the eco-narrative through my craftsmanship. So cool to see it brought out of the archive 7 years later on a next generation #RPDR QUEEN!
