Eco Demi-Couture

Stevie Crowne demi-couture commissions ensure that each garment is measured to the body and spirit of our clients, matching an authentic byproduct to our clients’ personality. This is what we have trademarked as identity-dressing; style with something to say or something to express. We merge textiles, craftsmanship, and our social skillset to buyers’ needs to inspire a strengthened, collaborative style experience. We specialize with global luxury and high street consumers who have existing garments to be reimagined in a sustainable format.

This participation is a premium service and the aim is to keep quality pieces in customers’ closets as a piece of wearable art afterwards. Our demi-couture pieces have previously been worn on red carpets, music videos, stage performances, TV shows, music festivals, and upscale events.

The Process

1. The demi-couture experience begins with clients providing reference images, event information, and any other assets necessary to understand the requirements of the order. Clear creative directions alongside ballpark budget limits are established.

2. Stevie Crowne then executes 5-7 days of research; cultivating moodboard inspirations, both in person and online fabric swatching, sustainable design techniques, and further global supply chain/manufacturing sourcing. All information is then delivered to the client in either physical or PDF form. A variety of both premium and accessible options are made available for the client to choose from.

3. After selections, deadlines, and budgets have been finalized, a 50% invoice is required to source fabrics, create patterns, and book pre-production manufacturing sessions. Throughout initial manufacturing, the client is kept updated through the channel of their choice.

4. As soon as the order is nearing completion, the remaining 50% is required to complete manufacturing and cover logistics costs to the client through the provider of their choice.

5. The first fitting is either done physically or through localized professionals wherever the order has been delivered. Home visits are available at cost. First alterations / return shipping are included in the price, but if any additional requirements are needed past the consulting stage, it will require a budget increase.
