As we move into a new creative direction slowly, I thought I’d post a recap of our SS24 Polaris collection manufacturing in Bangkok,, look-book shoot in Tokyo, and runway in Seoul.

SS24 POLARIS: SEOUL FASHION WEEK

SS24 Polaris debuts during Seoul Fashion Week.

“Every star is born in darkness.”

POLARIS has been a symbol of guidance and stability for centuries now. In ancient times, famous navigators, global travelers used the North Star as a way to determine their location as they ventured into the unknown; putting faith into their darkest nights with limited guide maps, and a profound sense of stoicism. Our SS24 collection takes a collective, autobiographical approach to this mythology; a byproduct of following intuitions that allow us to inch towards our truths, goals, and final destinations. As we look within ourselves, each-other, society, this industry; we can discover and develop mutual purposes that guide us to a true sustainable future for all. Our new era embodies a thematic sense of celestial beauty and punk elegance. Imagine refined Parisian chic meets Harajuku subculture. The collection features harmonious blends of classic silhouettes and contemporary elements, cross pollinated with futuristic textiles which create a captivating, elevated, and versatile range for Spring-Summer 2024 RTW + Demi-couture commissions.

Tokyo Rush Order

Behind the scenes of a 48 hour rush order we did last week in Tokyo!

This commission comprised of a thrifted classic leather biker set transformed into a fire truck red ensemble with grommet straps and buckles on the arms to compliment side spike embellishments. The trousers were panelled, and wrapped with a studded leather harness, tailored to an oversized drop-crotch style.

This style is what defined my roots and DNA as a budding sustainable creative in Canada during the 2010’s. It felt so nostalgic to be doing this again in Tokyo. More to come! X
