It is a circular design service where we breathe new life into your preloved wardrobe, or personally sourced vintage, deadstock items. Using virtual AI redesigning tech, Stevie Crowne can digitally reimagine existing wardrobe pieces into something entirely new before we ever touch a needle—giving you a risk-free preview of your garment’s physical transformation. We believe the most sustainable garment is the one you already own or exists on a thrift store rack waiting to be reborn—but we also know that taking the leap into upcycling can be daunting. CrownVision Labs removes the guesswork. Our AI redesign phase ensures you see the future of your wardrobe before a single cut is made.

Trial Pilot One: Vintage Leather Jacket, Deconstructed And Repainted

Below we have an example of a classic, widely available thrift find which we deconstructed and painted. A high quality, deadstock item that simply needs an update. Sourced from Guerrisol Paris.

Step One: Reconfigure the item into a flatlay.

Step Two: Crop the jacket.

Step Three: Use the excess length to create a skirt.

Step Four: Repaint the body of the jacket in a jet black, with classic white panel on the ribbed panels.

Step Five: Render the set onto the buyer.

COST: A project of this range would cost effectively between £300-£400 GBP, depending if the customer requested the contrasted black bodice and white ribbed sleeve custom paint variation, and if the customer hired us to source the leather jacket, or provided it from their own wardrobe.

Trial Pilot Two: Classic Denim Jacket, Reimagined With AW26 TITAN Fabrics

This is a prime example of a simple alteration. To transform this, we utilize a re-paneling process that bridges sustainable sourcing with high-end reconstruction. The original sleeves and collar are deconstructed, allowing the base torso to serve as a high-contrast canvas for our signature AW26 abstract textile.

Step One: Source the item (Ebay, Buyers Wardrobe).

Step Two: Render the deadstock jacket flatlay with a fabric sample image of our AW26 Brushstroke Jacquard

Step Three: Render jacket onto the buyer.

Trial Pilot Three: Oversized Menswear Suit, Reinforced With Parisian Couture Embroidery

Below we have an example of a classic oversized blazer which can be easily found in peoples wardrobes, thrift stores, Ebay, etc. This is a garment I found on Ebay.

Step One: Render the deadstock blazer into AI software

Step Two: Bring in the shoulder for a more tailored fit.

Step Three: Render Parisian textile swatches onto the jacket panels, and create a belt to cinch the waist.

Step Four: Render the jacket onto the buyer.

Trial Pilot Four: Biker Jacket Reinforced With Spikes And Crystals, Removable Sleeves

Below we have an example of a classic vintage biker style. We gave it a contrasted glam punk makeover in true Stevie Crowne DNA form.

Step One: Embellish the collar, revere, and belt with an array of silver punk spikes and classic circular crystals.

Step Two: Add modular element. Remove the sleeves, and add zippers for sleeveless option

Step Three: Render the styling options onto the buyer.

Upcycling Design Guidelines

Our transformations are split into three primary pillars. Whether it’s menswear, womenswear, or gender-neutral pieces, we work across all textiles including denim, leather, knits, couture embroidery deadstock, and luxury synthetics.

1. Structural Transformation

This is where the “vision” meets the “thread.” We use AI to map out how a garment’s DNA can be rewritten.

• Tailoring & Refitting: Precision adjustments to modernize the silhouette of vintage suits, trousers, or gowns.

• Deconstruction & Reconstruction: Taking a garment apart to build something entirely new (e.g., turning a trench coat into a structured mini-dress).

• Hybrid Design: Merging two or more preloved pieces into a single, cohesive “Frankenstein” couture garment.

2. Surface Artistry & Textile Alchemy

We change the physical feel and visual depth of your fabrics through experimental techniques.

• Fabric Manipulation: Inverted Slash pleating, and architectural draping inspired by the Stevie Crowne runway collections.

• Color Chemistry: Custom fabric dyeing, intentional acid washing, and bespoke leather/textile painting.

• Material Aging: Controlled distressing and “experimental cycling” to give garments a high-fashion, lived-in edge.

3. The Embellishment Atelier

For clients looking for red-carpet impact or maximalist expression.

• Couture Embroidery: Intricate, hand-stitched designs tailored to the garment’s new form.

• Crystal & Jewel Work: High-clarity crystal embellishing for evening wear and gala pieces.

• Hardware Integration: Adding a subcultural edge with precision-placed studs, spikes, and metallic accents.

The CrownVision Labs Upcycling Process

Step 1: Submission & Visualization

To begin, you will provide the foundational assets needed to build your virtual look. You have two options for the garment:

• Option A: Send an image of a pre-loved item from your own wardrobe that you wish to transform.

• Option B: Provide a reference image of a specific style you desire. Our team will then source a matching piece from a curated selection of consignment, vintage, or thrift stores.

• The “Digital Canvas”: You will also provide a clear, head-to-toe photo of yourself in a simple, form-fitting outfit. This allows us to accurately render the custom upcycled design onto your frame.

Step 2: Design Consultation

Once your images are submitted, we move into the creative phase.

• We will consult with you to define the exact modifications, aesthetic details, and structural changes you want for the garment.

• All designs are developed in strict concordance with the Crown Vision Labs Upcycling Design Guidelines to ensure quality and brand integrity.

Step 3: Virtual Mock-up & Approval

Before any physical work begins, we bring the vision to life digitally.

• We will generate a Virtual Upcycling Mock-up featuring you “wearing” the new design.

• This includes a comprehensive 360° view with front, side, and back images, allowing you to see exactly how the finished piece will look and fit.

Step 4: Logistics & Initial Deposit

Once you are 100% satisfied with the virtual design:

• Shipping: You will ship your physical item to our studio (if using your own garment).

• Deposit: The first 50% payment deposit is required at this stage to move the project into the manufacturing phase.

Step 5: Manufacturing & Finalization

Our artisans begin the physical transformation of your piece.

• Mid-Point Milestone: As we reach the halfway mark of the tailoring and alteration process, the remaining 50% balance plus shipping costs will be settled.

• Delivery: Once the final stitch is placed, your one-of-a-kind, physically upcycled garment is shipped directly to your door.
